The Fab Lab UNI is the most important initiative in Peru for bringing the latest in art, digital manufacturing, design tools, and knowledge related to the invention, innovation, and higher technical education to Peru and South America, for all segments of the society.
The year 2010 was born on the initiative of the Institute for Advanced Architecture of Catalonia (iaac.net) and the Spanish Agency for International Development Cooperation (aecid.es), which finances the technical training and installation of the first Fab Lab in South America at the Faculty of Architecture of the National University of Engineering (uni.edu.pe).
